Lavender Strawberry Lemonade


  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup My Fabulous Food's lavender buds
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Honey, for rimming the glasses
  • My Fabulous Food's lavender buds, for rimming the glasses
  • My Fabulous Food's Alaea sea salt, for rimming the glasses
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries and lavender sprigs, for garnish (optional)


Lavender Simple Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and My Fabulous Food's lavender buds.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the lavender steep in the syrup for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the lavender buds. Set the syrup aside to cool.

Honey and Lavender Rim

  1. On a small plate, combine a teaspoon of My Fabulous Food's lavender buds with a pinch of Alaea sea salt.
  2. Dip the rim of each glass into honey, allowing any excess to drip off.
  3. Then dip the honey-rimmed glass into the lavender and sea salt mixture, gently pressing to coat the rim. Set the glasses aside.

Lavender Strawberry Lemonade

  1. In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the strawberry mixture into a large pitcher. Add the lavender simple syrup and stir well to combine.  Add additional water as needed.
  3. Fill each honey and lavender-rimmed glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the lavender strawberry lemonade over the ice, dividing it equally among the glasses.
  5. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry and a sprig of lavender.
  6. Stir gently before serving and enjoy your refreshing Lavender Strawberry Lemonade!

Note: You can adjust the sweetness of the lemonade by adding more or less lavender simple syrup, depending on your taste preferences.
